Grand Master Manong Tom Lopez, PhD. MA

Grand Master, 10th Dan

Dr. Lopez is in his 53rd year of studying martial arts. He started training martial arts at the age of 10 and entered the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17.  He then continued training in various styles and systems as he traveled throughout the world.  He has trained in Japan, Okinawa, Korea, China, Philippines, as well as the United States.  In the later years of his Marine Corps career he began training fellow Marines in the martial arts and found teaching the martial arts was more rewarding than just training himself.  Upon retirement he moved to Wisconsin and established his first school in Baraboo.  The huge success of this school has led to the opening of other schools in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Mr. Lopez now serves as President of TL & CJ Enterprises, the Wisconsin Co-Director of the Inayan System of Eskrima/Inayan Training Organization, Wisconsin Representative for the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the World Organization of Martial Arts, and Manages the Elite Self Defense Centers.  He travels extensively providing consultant services related to martial arts, conducts seminars for the public, conducts lectures and demonstrations for local schools and civic organizations, and continues to share his knowledge and expertise with everyone.
